"The name 宝林 (BaoLin) is a Chinese name and translates to English as Treasure Forest. This is the name of my father in law, who passed away 2 years ago now in China while we were here in Canada. Because of covid we were not allowed to leave the country, especially to go to China, so we were unable to organize a funeral, be there to claim his ashes, or claim his personal belongings. It was a deviating time for our family. He was/is an important part of my life and he did so much for me, so I wanted to give back to him. Leave a legacy in his name. So this song is dedicated to him."
